Alexander Rydell is a creative editor and filmmaker that is dedicated to bringing big brands and and even bigger ideas to life. He is the founder and creative director of Rydell Films, a boutique production company that creates sizzles, trailers, EPKs, music videos, commercials, documentaries, and even scripted content for clients including Overstock, The Safran Company, Gold Circle Films, BCBG, RayBan, Brother Printers, Pizza Hut, Dell, and the Los Angeles Music Center.

Copywriter/director/editor for commercials, music videos, movie trailers, and other branded content. Wrote creative briefs, treatments, and executed production and post-production under tight deadlines.

Assistant Editor - Muck Media

December 2019 - April 2020

Alexander came aboard to help Muck Media finish their new show for National Geographic. TRAFFICKED follows Mariana Van Zeller as she treks into uncharted territory to tell the story of the illegal trafficking of guns, drugs, animals, and people.

Assistant Editor / Editor - Shareability

September 2016 - Current

Providing post production services for a variety of digital content using Adobe CC and FCPX. Duties included syncing, multi-grouping, string-outs, editing, graphics, audio mixing, and color correction. Notable clients include Cricket Wireless, Pizza Hut, Winston House, Freshpet, and Wind.

Senior Editor - 4WT Media

January 2015 - August 2016

Senior Editor overseeing all aspects of post production including editorial, motion graphics, color, sound, and data management. Creating over one hour of content per quarter for clients including Netflix, 3M, Innerspace Surgical, Hawke Media, and many more. Worked with system architects to integrate shared storage and acts as Admin to the server.
